Introduction

E-learning offers Clients a flexible, accessible training option that can supplement traditional instructor-led operations-training workshops. Training can be carried out with 24 hour-a-day availability, requiring just a personal computer, laptop, (or tablet), fitted with suitable speakers, and a broadband internet facility.
Some of the modules’ type-face may be difficult to read on small screens. Therefore, this online training is not recommended for access by Smartphones or small tablets.

What are the benefits of online training?

The course is designed to help understand the risks associated when working within a Chlorine or Hypochlorite operations area. It aims to provide the skills required to carry out Chlorine or Hypochlorite maintenance operations efficiently and safely, using best practises developed by Chloraid personnel within the Chlorine Industry.

Who should undertake this online training?

The course has been comprehensively designed from ChlorAid operations training modules, to accommodate, (i) newly-appointed staff, who have absolutely no knowledge of the subject, and (ii), those more experienced staff who may need or request refresher training.
The course caters for those staff working within bulk storage Chlorine sites, and Chlorine drum (1 tonne) and cylinder (33Kg & 71Kg) installations.

What is included?

Each module includes films, and a series of interactive software presentations, which are occasionally interspaced with questions and exercises to engage and check understanding.
Finally, delegates are tested and must achieve a defined pass mark before they can receive the Certificate of Competence. Also, the delegates will receive a 30-page, full-colour booklet, titled, “Working Safely with Chlorine and Sodium Hypochlorite” for reference and future use.
